Schedule an Information Session Location
To arrange for a group information session at any of these locations,
contact the facility directly to reserve the room you will need.
Schedule your room at least six weeks or more in advance for maximum space
availability and publicity purposes.
If you have questions about how to coordinate the event
with your on-campus recruiting efforts, contact the Employer Relations & Recruiting Office at (510)
642-0464 or by email. For example, we can extend your OCR resume submission deadline until after your event.
Facilities
Important: The facilities listed operate independently of the Career Center and do not publicize events.
The Career Center cannot assume responsibility for logistics or student attendance or provide staffing on the day of your event.
We encourage you to request written confirmation of your reservation and advertise your event on our web
calendar. In compliance with the University’s policy prohibiting the use of alcoholic beverages, the
Career Center does not permit the serving of alcoholic beverages at any employer related functions on or
off campus.
- The Alumni House, next to Sproul Plaza, the Student
Union, and Zellerbach Hall, is easily accessible for students.
- The Bancroft Hotel is a national landmark hotel
located across the street from UC Berkeley.
- The Faculty Club is centrally located on campus and
very experienced working with employers to coordinate impressive events.
Approximately 90% of information sessions occur here.
- Haas School of Business is located across the street from Memorial Stadium
and is the building most often frequented by Undergraduate Business Majors
and MBAs.
- The Hotel Durant, a boutique hotel considered a Berkeley
landmark, is located one block from campus.
- International House, the historic "I-House", is conveniently
located in the southeast corner of campus and has several rooms available
for special events.
- The Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Union is centrally
located on campus in Sproul Plaza, an area highly trafficked by students.
Audio-Video Equipment
If audio-video equipment is needed on campus, it may be rented from a campus office or local business experienced in working with campus venues. Equipment availability and charges vary:
- UC Berkeley Educational Technology Services (ETS), call (510) 643-8637 to reserve equipment and process payment. At least 5 business days advance notice is required.
- Oakland Audio-Visual Services, call (510) 347-4545 or (800) 600-6287. At least 2 business days advance notice is required.
