Berkeley fairs fill very rapidly. To insure that the correct individual receives email notification when fair registrations open,
complete the Event & Program Information Request Form.

Fair/Forum Descriptions
Cal Career Fair
Serves as the primary campus pre-recruiting event for employers who
want to increase their visibility among the student population prior to
the campus-recruiting season.
- Attracts 1800+ each day primarily graduating students, representing all academic majors and 270+ employers.
- Email invitations are sent in June prior to the fair.
Investment Banking Forum
EECS Career Fair
- Presented in partnership with Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Honor Society.
- Registration limited to 60 employers; registration by invitation only.
Consulting Forum
this year, provides employers a small, targeted event to meet with students exploring full-time jobs and internships in consulting.
- Participation is limited to 15 employers; registration by invitation only.

Biotech and Bioengineering Career Fair
- Introduced in 2006, this fair will provide biotechnology organizations the opportunity to recruit students (BS, MS or PhD) in sciences, engineering, etc.
- Presented in partnership with the Bioengineering Honor Society and Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES)
- Email invitations will be sent in July prior to the fair.
Masters & PhD Career Fair
- Presented since 2002, this afternoon fair is exclusively for graduate students.
- Potentially attracts graduate students from disciplines campus-wide (see
Graduate Division's list of Graduate
Programs). Note that MBAs and JDs are recruited directly through the
career offices in the Schools of Business and Law.
- Email invitations are sent in July prior to the fair.
Law School Fair
- 80+ law school representatives discuss their programs
and provide admission requirements and information.
- Attracts hundreds of students interested in pursuing a law degree.
- Email invitations are sent in July prior to the fair.
Graduate School Fair
- 190+ graduate & professional school representatives attend this event
to provide admission requirements and information to UC Berkeley students.
- Attracts hundreds of students interested in pursuing
degrees beyond the baccalaureate level.
- Email invitations are sent in July prior to the fair.
Company Finance Forum
- Introduced in 2007, provides employers a small, targeted event to meet with students exploring full-time jobs and internships in company finance.
- Participation is limited to 15 employers; registration by invitation only.

International Affairs Graduate School Fair
- 30+ graduate schools of international affairs and international business discuss their programs and provide admission requirements and information.
- One event in the annual International Career Symposium, this fair includes most APSIA Schools.
- Projected to attract hundreds of interested students.
- Email invitations are sent in July prior to the fair.
Early Bird Internship Fair
- For employers who have early internship application deadlines and/or plan to interview prospective Summer 2009 interns early in Spring Semester.
- Opportunity to meet with highly motivated, prepared students eager to begin their Summer Internship search early.
- Email invitations are sent in early September prior to the fair.
Civil & Environmental Engineering Career Fair
- This early evening fair emphasizes efficiency -
2 hours.
- Exclusively for employers seeking to hire Civil &
Environmental Engineering (CEE) students at the undergraduate or graduate
level.
- Email invitations are sent in September prior to the fair.
Diversity Career Fair
- Provides an opportunity to interact with Cal students early in the Spring Semester for entry-level career positions, summer and internship opportunities.
- Attracts 1800+ each day primarily graduating students, representing all academic majors, and 240+ employers.
- Email invitations are sent in November prior to the fair.
Nonprofit/Public Service Career Fair
- 80+ representatives from a wide range of nonprofit
organizations and public agencies bring information and discuss
entry-level positions and internships.
- This fair is publicized in conjunction with the Diversity Career Fair the previous week. Nonprofit employers benefit from this early Spring Semester visibility .
- Email invitations are sent in November prior to the fair.
Marketing Forum
- Provides employers a small, targeted event to meet with students exploring full-time jobs and internships in marketing and communications.
- Participation is limited to 15 employers; registration by invitation only.

Real Estate Forum
- Provides employers a small, targeted event to meet with students exploring full-time jobs and internships in real estate.
- Participation is limited to 15 employers; registration by invitation only.

Internship & Summer Job Fair
- 170+ employers representing the private, nonprofit and public sectors recruit
interns and summer job applicants.
- Opportunity to interact with 2500+ students seeking
summer jobs or internships (professional training opportunities) - paid and
volunteer, year-round and summer, on and off campus.
- Email invitations are sent in early January prior to the fair.
CED (Environmental Design) Career Fair
- Presented in partnership with the College of Environmental Design (CED).
- 60+ employers are invited to recruit Architecture,
Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and City & Regional Planning students.
- The fair will be open to students in all academic disciplines.
- Email invitations are sent in early January prior to the fair.
Green Career Fair
- Formerly the ECO Career Fair, presented in partnership with the College of Natural Resources (CNR).
- Environmental employers expecting to hire students for full-time or summer jobs will be invited to attend this small, early evening fair.
- The fair will target students in environmentally related academic disciplines (Environmental Sciences, Environmental
Economics & Policy, Conservation & Resource Studies, Forestry & Natural Resources, Biological Sciences).
- Registration limited; initial registration by invitation only.
- Email invitations are sent in January prior to the fair.
Just in Time Job Fair
To provide as many opportunities for Cal students as possible, this late Spring
fair is open to both employers and 3rd party recruiters.
- Just in Time to fill summer jobs/internships.
- Just in Time to fill full-time jobs for new graduates.
- Just in Time for 3rd party recruiters to fill employer clients' staffing needs.
- Email invitations are sent in early March prior to the fair.
